Syria and Jordan, new Iberia destinations in 2010

In 2010 Iberia is adding two new countries --Syria and Jordan-- to its network during the summer months.

From July 3 until October 30, Iberia will operate a weekly Madrid-Amman flight every Saturday.

It will leave Madrid at 14:30 h., and arrive in the Jordanian capital at 20:25 h. The return flight will leave Jordan at 21:25 h and reach Madrid-Barajas airport at 02:05 h.

Iberia will also launch a Madrid-Damascus route from July 13 to October 26, with a direct return flight every Tuesday.

It will leave Madrid at 14:30 h. and reach the Syrian capital at 20:20 h. The return flight leaves Damascus at 21:20 h., and lands in Madrid at the 01:45 h.

Iberia will fly the 141-seat Airbus A-319 on both routes. The flying time on both is five and a half hours.

Iberia will give passengers the option of combining the two destinations to facilitate visits to both Syria and Jordan.
